Well today I got all of my Christmas cards in the mail. That is personal cards AND cards for work!! Whew!!! I made our personal cards this year. WHAT AN UNDERTAKING!! But I did it!!. Check them out below...The stamped image is a Magnolia stamp and the Word stamps are
Close To My Heart...the paper is Bo Bunny and the stamp was colored with Copic markers. Ink for stamps is Close To My Heart.

December 6th, 2010

I am so excited! This past weekend I was finally able to get my Master's Degree with Close To My Heart!! I am thrilled...now to start working on the Ph.D. part of the Degree. I love these online classes and training that Close To My Heart offers in four areas: Business, Personal Development, Creative Training, etc. It took me almost a year to get my Bachelor's Degree, but the Master's took a little longer. I love how this Company really helps you to succeed! Anybody out there that might be looking for another job, this is a GREAT Company, and I would love to share this experience with you! Let me know!

I have been trying hard to do some creative things to upload, but my heart just is not in a creative mood. I know that once I start creating, that I will loose myself in it and feel better, but everything that I am doing is just not working....

I feel that my life is so out of control....nothing will EVER be the same again....

I am going to try really hard to get back into my blog. I am inspired by so many others that I see and follow, I want to be a great blogger too. My problem right now is that I have fallen into a

"pit of despair" right now. I am trying hard to climb out of this deep pit, but the sides are really slippery and I keep sliding back down for every reach upward that I take. Everyone tells me that you have to go through the grieving process -- my dear, sweet mother passed suddenly a month ago, and she was my dearest and longest friend -- I keep wanting to call her up and talk to her....anyway, everytime I try to do something creative -- and I am MAKING myself do this hoping I will get out of this -- I just can't do it. Be patient with me...I REALLY am trying hard here. I have posted a picture of my wonderful parents. I love them.

Hello everyone! I can't believe that July is here!! That means with the start of the 7th month, we are starting the downhill slide of this year!! (or at least that is how I see it). Before we know it, the children will be back at school and summer vacations just a sweet memory!



I am still trying to figure out how to get some cards and things that I have made uploaded here to my blog. If someone could help me it would be great!



I have to share this with you....the other day I was walking my Irish Setter, Abby here at work, she comes with me everyday...and these two birds kept swooping down on her! We were not close to the trees. But they were fussing and swooping the whole time! Several hours later we went back out and the same thing happened again!! Then yesterday we went out and the birds didn't do it at all. Wasn't that a strange thing?



If I get busy and don't get back on the blog. For all of my fellow Americans, Happy Fourth of July!! Be safe with the fireworks and cookouts!

I have got to figure out how to get the things I love and want to share up here on my blog. If anyone reads this and would like to help me with some directions, I would greatly appreicate your help.

This past weekend was very hot here in North Carolina, and I didn't want to go outside much. The heat just zaps my energy. Friday night I decided to work some on my Magnolia stamps and practice with my Copic markers. They truly are addicting! Hopefully I will get more time to get some things "prepared" to show my crafting friends.

Please do feel free to offer me some suggestions about how to make my Blog a better page.

Please bear with me as I am trying to figure out this "blogging" stuff. I have seen so many interesting blogs of crafters and I am excited about trying this new way of sharing.
